These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lumeyext, a browser extension and related services (the “Service”) operated by ThankGod Eboreime (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using Lumeyext, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Lumeyext. If you're under 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Lumeyext is a browser extension for managing and organizing YouTube video consumption, including features such as smart library organization, AI-powered categorization, transcript navigation, AI summaries, and related tools. Some features are free; others require purchasing credits as described in Section 4.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Credits and Payments
Lumeyext operates on a prepaid credits system rather than a subscription.
- New users receive free credits upon installation, as described on our .
- Additional credits can be purchased in packages (Starter, Plus, Pro) or custom amounts.
- Purchased credits do not expire.
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the Service.
- Refunds are governed by our separate .
We reserve the right to change credit pricing or package amounts at any time. Changes won't affect credits you've already purchased.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of YouTube's or Google's own Terms of Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the credit system
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service outside of its intended extension functionality
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
- Use the Service to store or process content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Your API Keys
If you choose to connect your own third-party API keys (e.g., for AI providers), we store them in encrypted form and use them solely to make requests on your behalf within Lumeyext. You're responsible for any costs incurred on your own API accounts through such use.
7. AI-Generated Content
Lumeyext uses AI (via OpenAI's API) to generate summaries, categorizations, and recommendations. AI-generated output may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. We don't guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, and you should independently verify anything important before relying on it.
8. Intellectual Property
Lumeyext, its logo, and its underlying code are our property or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or proprietary software beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended. You retain ownership of any content you input into the Service (e.g., notes, saved video organization).
9. Third-Party Services
Lumeyext integrates with third-party services, including YouTube/Google and OpenAI. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThankGod Eboreime won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Unused purchased credits at the time of termination may be handled per our , where applicable.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
